Mosaic 2022

In 2020 and amidst the throes of Lockdown restlessness I took a pile of my old acrylic paintings, tore them off their stretchers and chopped them up in to wee pieces. In my defence, they were taking up too much space and now I have buckets of painty canvasy collage materials that I use for an ongoing project, Mosaic. Even the old stretchers are useful, painted gold and used to frame these abstract experiments. I also layer up old photo frames with gesso as surfaces for Mosaics and they make good gifts, it's handmade so people have to say they like them! These are a lot of of fun to make and I will continue to do so but here are 2022's highlights:
